Lamia was a princess of Libya. She became Zeus's lover and incurred the jealousy of Hera, who punished her for this union. Driven by vengeance and despair, Lamia began to take her revenge indiscriminately to unleash her pain. Her beauty quickly reflected her hatred and anger, slowly transforming her into a dark sea creature.
This piece is made of brass plated with 18k fine gold, glass and Aquamarine coloured Zircon.
